Britney Jean Spears (2 December 1981) is an American singer and entertainer. Born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears started acting like a child with lead roles in productions and television programs. She signed with Jive Records in 1997 and released their first album Baby One More Time in 1999. During the first ten years in the music industry, was a prominent figure in popular commercial music and pop culture, followed by a highly publicized personal life. His first two albums her a pop icon and broke sales records, while the title song "... Baby One More Time" and "Oops! ... I Did It Again" was a series of international visits. Spears has credited with influencing the revival of teen pop in the 1990s. In 2001 she released her third studio album, Britney Spears and expanded its brand by the leading role in the film Crossroads.
